What is the K-NA ARAH Project of Korea?

The NAArah Project of Korea is a peace and heart-sharing initiative inspired by the spirit of Hongik Ingan, a Korean philosophy that means “to benefit all humanity.”

Today, the world faces many forms of suffering—wars and conflicts, refugees and orphans, disasters and accidents, and emotional pain such as depression and suicide.

The NAArah Project of Korea was created based on the warm aspirations of Korean ancestors who devoted themselves to the nation.
It is a nonprofit, people-participatory healing movement that places the human heart at its center, going beyond the boundaries of art, humanities, and religion.

To comfort and heal difficult times, citizens participate together, creating a warm healing journey where people share their hearts and support one another.

The project also seeks to comfort those who have experienced deep pain, including families affected by tragedies such as the Sewol Ferry and Itaewon disasters, children affected by war, survivors of disasters and accidents, and people recovering from trauma and PTSD.

Through humanities- and arts-based healing content inspired by the spirit of Hongik Ingan, the project encourages people to reflect on themselves and discover their own capacity for healing.

Through songs, stories, and artistic activities, the project shares the voices of the people and offers comfort to wounded hearts.
When needed, it can also naturally connect participants with psychological counseling and professional care.

This healing journey begins in Korea and grows into a path of participation that connects people with one another and with the hope of peace around the world.
